Do you take insurance?
Yes. We are currently in network with Aetna, Unicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Medicare. We also accept Auto Accident and Workers’ Compensation cases.

Yes. We feel it is very important to communicate with other medical professionals that are involved in your treatment and recovery.
Will you suggest exercises or other things I can do at home?
Yes. We strongly believe that exercise and other home instructions will significantly aide in recovery.
Do I need a referral from a physician or my insurance company?
No. Because chiropractors are considered primary care providers, insurance companies do not require referrals.
Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
The majority of times we do adjust on the first visit, following the initial exam.
Will I have to have X-rays?
X-rays are recommended on an individual basis. Following the initial History and Examination, the decision is discussed with you.
Do you have a family plan?

Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?
Yes, definitely. We successfully treat many patients who have had previous back surgery, as they may at some point suffer complications now requiring more conservative chiropractic care.
How much time does it take for a typical visit?
Approximately ten to twenty minutes.
Will I get a prescription for some pain medication?
As chiropractors, we do not prescribe medication. Since our approach is more natural, we may recommend a natural alternative.
Once I go to a chiropractor, will I always have to go?
No. Most patients reach maximum improvement and hold their adjustments. Although preventive maintenance care is recommended, we will always instruct you on what to do when away from the office to stay as healthy as possible.
Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?
Not typically. Occasionally there is a split second of discomfort, but the majority of time our ability to slightly adapt our technique can even prevent this.
Can chiropractic cure everything?
No. Chiropractic cannot cure everything, However, it can help the patient manage many complications and symptoms of most illnesses. Please see our list of conditions it can help to manage. You can also call and ask one of the doctors.
Why would I have my newborn or young child adjusted?
Newborns are subjected to more trauma at childbirth than most realize. We also have many documented cases of infants cured of colic and chronic ear infections with chiropractic care.
Can chiropractic help with colic and how?
Yes. The chiropractic adjustment can correct spinal misalignments that are preventing proper nerve flow to the digestive tract. With correction, nerve flow is restored and the gas buildup causing pain associated with colic is relieved. We also check for potential allergens in baby formula and/or breast milk that may be adding to the problem.
